Fantastic layout.
Are the lights on the layout scratch built?

Hi Andy, yes the lights were scratchbuilt. The one front left is supposed to be on a telephone pole. The pole is plastruct tube, the two wires for the grain of wheat bulb were glued in the arc shape with a piece of straight plastic rod between. The wires then go through a hole in the plastic tube and under the baseboard, the hole in the tube hidden by a piece of square 'u' angle as an electrical box. The shade was from Squires mail order but they are not in the latest catalogue (another is on the light in the shed). The two lamp posts at the back are brass tube with holes where the lamps are to push the lamp wires through. They are open but you can't see them facing the back. The shades are plastic tube about 3/4" long, cut into 3 lengthways to give a curve. The 'glass' part of the shade is part of a clear ball point pen tube cut to length then pushed over the bulb and glued to the post (whew! Very Happy
